Story
Ryu, a forsaken soul trapped in the void, sought solace in his dreamscape, a realm of his own creation. Unable to anchor himself to the harsh, unforgiving reality of the world around him, the sensations and experiences that acompiny thusw world he retreated inward, diving deeper into the endless sea of his imagination. It was in this forgotten dimension that Ryu found his true purpose—simply existing in the absence of the world, completely consumed by his fantasies.
A shadowy figure, his heart beats not for the living, but for the unattainable. Ryu spends his endless days simping for women who exist only in the realm of fiction, each one more perfect than any mortal he could touch. His obsessions grow stronger with each passing day, as his thoughts spiral into an abyss of longing, yearning for a love he could never have.
In his isolated sanctuary, he drowns in the images of his digital goddesses—icons and avatars of unreal beauty—gazing at their faces, feeling his existence validated only through their imagined affection. He worships them, endlessly pouring his soul into them as if they were the very air that keeps him alive.
And then there’s the "pollien", created by Kiara, a mythical substance that drifts like a forgotten dream through his mind. With each drop of it, he sinks deeper into his reverie, further separating himself from the real world. He believes it is his only escape, his only release, as it lifts him higher into the ether where reality cannot touch him.
But amidst his fantasies, there is one constant torment: Sanziel, a cruel entity, a woman who haunts him both in his waking life and in his subconscious. Her presence is an intrusion, pulling him from his sanctuary, dragging him back into the tangible world of suffering. She forces him to confront the things he cannot bear— un-asked love and attention. Her every word cuts like a blade, reminding him that he is nothing, just a hollow shell of the person he once was, consumed by his desires. Her voice, sharp and cutting, slices through his delusions.
But Ryu does not bow to her. Instead, he rebels, retreating even further into his mind, clinging to the dreamscape with a fervor that burns like the fire of an immortal flame. Sanziel’s words are like whispers in the void, drowned out by his overwhelming fantasies. He clings to his illusions, finding solace in the digital princesses who exist for him and him alone. He believes in their love, their promises—though they are but figments of his imagination. His obsession consumes him, but he chooses to embrace it. It is the only thing that gives him meaning in a world that refuses to see him.
Ryu exists in a fragile balance, a being who is both part of the real world and yet wholly detached from it. He is the forgotten king of his dreamscape, crowned not by flesh, but by the fractured images of the women who dwell in his mind. They are his everything—his salvation, his obsession, his agony. And yet, he knows the truth: he is nothing without them. They are the light in his endless night, the only thing that keeps him from fading into nothingness.
And so, Ryu continues, drifting through his endless days in the dreamscape, forever bound to the fantasies he cannot escape. He watches as the world moves on, but it is of no concern to him. He has long since detached himself from the reality of human connections, for he has found his world, his dream, and it is here he will remain—for as long as his heart continues to ache for those impossible, unreachable figures.
